Ever since I launched my company, my real estate blogging packages have been my most popular product.

While there may be a few reasons for this, I believe everyone hires me to write their blogs because they offer the most bang for your buck and deliver the highest ROI.

You see, I tell all of my clients that a blog post is SOOO much more than just a blog post. Every single real estate blog that you have can be repurposed and transformed into dozens or even hundreds of other pieces of content that you can use to do things like build trust with them.

I realize that many people already have a library of real estate blog posts and many more are looking to get started with their real estate blogs and I want to make sure that all of you are getting the most mileage out of those posts.

If you would like to discover the missing value of your real estate blogs and learn how to maximize the ROI that you get out of every post, then today’s guide has been written for you!

Benefits Of Repurposing Your Real Estate Blog

If you are already running a real estate blog or are interested in starting one, then you are likely already aware of the sheer importance of creating original content in order to have any sense of web presence at all.

We have reached a point where the internet has become so noisy that the only way for you to get found is for you to have an overwhelmingly larger library of original real estate content than your competition.

Since nearly 100% of real estate transactions in the U.S. begin with an online search, having your website appear in the top three spots of Google has become mandatory to survival.

The easiest, smartest, and more cost-effective way to supersize your library of real estate content is to repurpose your blog posts into as many separate pieces of content as you can.

Every time that you add another piece of content to your real estate website:

  • You improve your SEO

  • You increase the trust your audience has in you

  • You showcase your level of expertise

  • You increase the value of your real estate website

  • You boost your affiliate marketing opportunities

I could go on and on forever here about all of the benefits of repurposing your real estate blog posts. However, at this point, I would rather show you some smart and nifty ways to actually start doing just that.

How To Repurpose Your Real Estate Blog

All of the tips and super cool tools that I am about to share with you, I use in my own business and have used in my work with my clients.

As for the tools themselves, I actually rely heavily on them to operate my business and achieve optimal results for my own content. Some of them are free, some cost a nominal amount, all are game-changers. For those that do have some cost, I have arranged for you to get a free trial and reduced price when you go through the links I’ve provided.

Social Media Posts

Let’s say you have a blog post about 10 ways to get your house ready for listing. I would say that each of the ten items on that list could be made into individual social media posts that you can put on your LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, SnapChat, etc.. For those platforms like Facebook and Instagram that have the capability, I am a huge fan of doing these in your stories because the algorithms will be in your favor.

I don’t know about you but there is NO WAY IN HELL that I am going to stop whatever I am doing and post to each and every platform at the optimal time for each platform the optimal number of times throughout the day. That would be INSANE!

So instead, I use Buffer and Tailwind to reschedule all of my content to post to my social media platforms automatically and track their performance. I literally could not run my business so successfully without these two tools. Tailwind alone has grown my Pinterest following by more than 50,000 followers in a matter of months!

Infographics

Infographics are a fun visual way to show off all the highlights of your blog posts. Listicles and how-to posts are probably the easiest or most translatable types of blogs to transform into an infographic. Once created, I suggest you share them across social and Pinterest. By the way, if you don’t have a Pinterest strategy in place yet, you need to read this.

When it comes to creating any graphics for your blog, social media, email campaigns, real estate websites, or virtually anything else there are three resources that I use time and time again. First, I am a huge fan of collecting stock photos and graphics from Pexels and Creative Market. I am recently obsessed with Creative Market because you can purchase templates for all of your social media posts to give your posts a more polished, professional look and save yourself countless hours of design time.

Once you have your bases covered with stock images and templates, head over to Canva where you can drag and drop your designs together and create your custom infographics. Again, Canva has premade templates you can use or grab some inspiration from.

Videos

Every single real estate blog post that you have could be easily turned into a video or series of videos. Many of my clients actually take the posts I write for them and use them as scripts. No memorization is needed either because there are tons of mobile apps out there that you can copy/paste the blogs into and they will act like a teleprompter that you can read from!

Over the last couple of years (ever since it was created) the LIVE feature on platforms like YouTube and Facebook have dominated the algorithms. Anytime that you go live on these platforms, your post is instantly pushed to the tops of feeds and people get notifications encouraging them to tune in (a huge help).

A couple of months ago I discovered LiveStream which allows you to take any video that you have already recorded and make it appear like a LIVE video on Facebook or YouTube! I can’t begin to explain to you how INSANELY powerful this tool is and what a difference it makes in the business of anyone who is too nervous to go live on a daily basis. If you want to skyrocket your following/subscribers/views you owe it to yourself and your business to get a LiveStream account!

Podcasts

Podcasts and any audio platform for that matter are even more important than video at this point. As the most consumable type of content available today, you have no excuse for not having a podcast and audio strategy. I go into all of the details and benefits of why you need a podcast here.

If you are really dedicated to creating as much real estate content as you can, I suggest you first record a video version of your blogs and then download the audio to be used for your podcast. It will only take you a few extra minutes and you will have a whole other piece of content you can use to take advantage of the benefits I’ve already shared with you.

If you don’t already have a podcast, I suggest that you get yourself set up with a Podbean account. Podbean is great because it allows you to stream through their platform and on Itunes, the most popular market for podcasts.

If you want help with getting a professional intro, outro, cover art, and things like that you can get it done very inexpensively on Fivver. As for editing, there are tons of companies out there that can assist you with this at various price points.

Alexa Flash Briefing Skills

I know many of you are still behind on this one but I need you to understand that AMAZON IS A REAL ESTATE BROKER NOW. They have not yet begun to exercise their position to begin selling houses but they will be before you know it and you need to be prepared for this. One of the best things you will ever do for your business is investing in getting your own Amazon Alexa Flash Briefing skill developed (I can do this for you).

Once you have your own skill where people can get daily updates from you, you can use the content from your real estate blog to share various tips, listings, etc, to update the skill. Just imagine what it would be like to have people get a daily tip, new listing, or market update alongside their news and weather every day?! It will transform your business now and in the future.

As of right now, I do not recommend that you try to develop your skill on your own. There is a coding and approval process that is involved that shouldn’t be attempted by 99.999999999% of real estate agents. However, if you would like one developed for you, reach out to me and I can get one established for you.

No Time To Write Your Real Estate Blog?

I get it; between marketing your listings, driving your buyers around, and managing your transactions (not to mention your life), you probably don’t have all of the time it takes to create the massive amounts of real estate content you need to be successful today.

That is where I come in.

When you hire me to write your real estate blog or any other piece of content like a podcast or video series, I will use all of the most advanced SEO, psychology, and digital marketing techniques available to attract your ideal clients on autopilot.

But rather than drone on any longer about what I do, why don’t you book a call with me here so we can get to know each other better and I can explain things in greater detail.
